Can you say 3.5-million readers?

That’s the number of boating and PWC enthusiasts who visit Boats.com and YachtWorld.com every month. They click through an amazing 95-million page views, and search over 140,000 new and used boat listings. And thanks to an agreement announced today on the eve of the Miami Boat Show, that is the audience that BoaterMouth.com and RideLiquid.com will now be exposed to.

Yes, on Wednesday we announced a long-term agreement that will connect the comprehensive, searchable boat listings of Boats.com and YachtWorld.com with extensive editorial content from what I can honestly say are 12 of the best marine journalists in the business.

“This partnership recognizes and leads a paradigm shift,” noted Ian Atkins, vice president and general manager of Boats.com and YachtWorld.com. “People who love the water are online now, looking for boats and high-quality editorial content to go with them. Teaming up with a crew of 12 writers who have the credentials of the BoaterMouth group is an outstanding enhancement for visitors to our sites—and a privilege for us.”

Told you it would be an interesting ride…
