Please excuse the hassle of having to "link to a link"—it's a copyright thing—but the first photos of the interior of Copeland's Phenomenon, the quad-turbine-engine, 12,000-hp catamaran designed to attempt the propeller-driven water speed record are online at Boats.com. Accompanying the photos, which were taken by Tim Sharkey at the Miami International Boat Show in February, is a feature on the 56-foot creation, which will be driven through its July 2 record attempt by Al Copeland, Jr., and throttled by Scott Barnhart.

Check it out.
