PWC Drag Races Move To High-Profile Water Ski Hall-Of-Fame Site For Fall

WaterTop Unlimited, the firm that promotes the RIVA Racing HydroDrag events, notified media recently that the Fall Nationals, scheduled for November 6-7, 2010, would not be taking place at the infamous C-54 Canal near Fellsmere, Florida, but instead at the Water Ski Hall of Fame & Museum, outside Lakeland, Florida. Located right on the Interstate 4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, that location is both high-profile and easy to find, and according to WaterTop's Tim McKercher, will take the HydroDrags to the "next level" of professionalism.

RIVA HydroDrag drag racing moving to high-profile location.

Located right on the Interstate 4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, that location is both high-profile and easy to find, and according to WaterTop’s Tim McKercher, will take the HydroDrags to the “next level” of professionalism.

“The best venues for HydroDrag events are man-made ski lakes and this is one of the best,” noted McKercher. “The competitors will love the smooth water, the spacious pit area, and variety of hospitality businesses. Fans will love the viewing angles and convenience to the interstate. This event has everything going for it.”

The USA Water Ski facility features a man-made ski lake designed to offer great spectator viewing, as well as glass-smooth water. Racers will find an 1800′ long, narrow waterway that should promise ideal conditions for top speed runs. As McKercher notes, competitors will be vying to break the existing top speed record of 100.5 mph, set by Julio Rivera at the 2009 HydroDrag Spring Nationals in Fellsmere, FL.

Event and registration information will soon be available at www.watertopevents.com. For immediate infomation, contact WaterTop at 321/409-0519 or info@watertopunlimited.com.
