One of the topics in my upcoming kids book concerns boating records, and one of them has already been broken before it’s even in print — 114 Australian water skiers got up behind a single boat and rode for over one nautical mile. Yup, it’s a new world record for most water skiers behind a boat. The crew was from the Horsehead Waterski Club, and they bested the previous mark of 100 skiers.
