A General Description of Sailing Yacht HANDEM

Adik - Anadolu Shipyard finished building sailing yacht HANDEM in 2003. The yacht is built in Turkey. HANDEM is a yacht which had design compiled by T. Soyaslan and Anadolu Shipyard and T Soyaslan. This superyacht HANDEM is able to accommodate overnight a total of approximately 8 passengers all told aboard together with around 5 crewmembers. 


New Build & Design of Luxury Yacht HANDEM

T Soyaslan was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel design work for HANDEM. Also the company T Soyaslan and Anadolu Shipyard skillfully worked on this venture. In 2003 she was formally launched with triumph in Istanbul and post sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter passed on to the owner. Adik - Anadolu Shipyard completed their new build sailing yacht in Turkey. The hull was crafted from composite.

The sailing yacht main superstructure is made for the most part from composite. With a width of 6.74 m or 22.1 feet HANDEM has moderate size. She has a reasonably deep draught of 3.96m (13ft).

The 3406C engine installed in the sailing yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. She is driven by a single screw propeller. The main engine of the yacht creates 540 horse power (or 397 kilowatts). She is equiped with 1 engines. The total power for the yacht is thus 540 HP or 397 KW.

The Sailing Yacht Handem was finished in at the yard of Adik – Anadolu in the year 2003 as Hull # 185. Accordingly, she was constructed in Turkey. The interesting exterior styling was produced by ANADOLU SHIPYARD. T Soyaslan was the naval architect. The material composite was used in building the superyacht hull.

The luxury yacht measures 30m (98.4 feet) long.

The ship has a beam in metres just on 6.74 (22.1 feet) in length matched with a max depth in metres which is 3.96 (13 ft).

Also, composite was used in the fabrication of the superstructure.
