The "Green eMotion" is the first fossil free sailing catamaran equipped with  the Green-Motion electric retractable propulsion and generating system. 

She was launched in Durban SouthAfricaand was sailed come to The Netherlands by professional crew in spring 2010. The yacht was mainly used for testing, demonstration and show purposes. The GreenCat 445 is built in glass, carbon, Twaron aramid, and PVC foam with epoxy resin infusion and is designed by Angelo Lavranos.  

This Luxury complete cruising catamaran has 2 cabins (king sized beds) with separate bathrooms and showers and many extra's like 6 solar panels (1600 watt), wind generator eclectic D400, Carbon mast, North sails, Quooker, Garmin HD 12 inch, GPS radar, AIS, water maker, sailing dingy, dishwasher, electric toilets, 2th Colour GPS chart plotter etc. This sailing catamaran was built in 2009/2010.  

 "Green eMotion" is a very nice, fast, luxurious safe, comfortable green sailing catamaran with the Green-Motion propulsion an regeneration system. She is equipped with 2 large cabin,so easly 6 people could sail her togeter as easy and can be sailed single handled. The vessel has every possible option for Hybrid sailing, adding comfort and ease of sailing and to living on board  for a vacantion and or year around.

This GreenCat 445 is the first fossil free sailing catamaran equipped with Green-Motion propulsion and generation system Launched in December 2009 in Durban SouthAfrica. The Green-Motion system proved its reliability when this GreenCat 445 sailed across the Atlantic to Europe in spring 2010.

The GreenCat 445 is building in basalt, carbon, Twaron aramid, and PVC foam with epoxy resin infusion and design by Angelo Lavranos and Gideon Goudsmit.  This Luxury complete cruising catamaran has 2 cabins with separate bathrooms and shower.
