The 60 Alaskan Pilothouse, the "original" Alaskan has had great success with over 25 hulls cruising the world after only a few years of building. It is no wonder, the 60' Pilothouse is available in both 60 and 64 foot versions depending on your particular needs. The 60'/64' Pilothouse offers the luxury and equipment of a much larger yacht, yet is easily handled by an owner/operator. The 60'/64' successfully blends the high-tech world of fiberglass composite construction with the art of old world cabinetry and attention to craftsmanship. Her high flared bow, deep forefoot and sharp wave entry are the unmistakable signature of the Alaskan. The Alaskan's "dual-speed" hull is a semi-displacement design that can be powered for extended range with twin 300 hp Caterpillars or she can achieve speeds of 20 knots with large 660 hp CATS. Her full protective keel doesn't slow her down even in rough seas.
Standard equipment includes stabilizers, bow thruster, generator, dinghy, davit, electronics, teak, granite, etc.
