| The Aqua Finn daysailer is designed for the inexperienced sailor or those seeking performance, simplicity, and durability. It is also the ideal boat for training, resort, camp, or rental use with heavy duty reinforcements and thrubolted rubrail. Features include cockpit large enough for two adults, adjustable hiking strap, cockpit drain, kick up rudder system, and sleeved sail versus the common plastic rings. The high performance hull design has a high entry bow with a roll V which lifts the bow through the waves and allows for greater planing ability. Construction is of hand-laid fiberglass utilizing a sandwich core of "Coremat". The deck design includes molded in splash rail and a roll cap joint that bonds the hull and deck at a 90-degree joint. All hardware is backed by aluminum plates under the fiberglass as opposed to wood so there is no worry of rot. All fasteners are stainless and Harken blocks are used throughout. | |||

| The Aqua Finn is designed for the inexperienced sailor or those seeking sailing performance, simplicity, and durability. It is the ideal boat for training, rental, or resort use, with features not available in other competitive daysailers of this size and price range. It features a cockpit large enough to accommodate two adults, with an adjustable hiking strap and an aft cockpit drain. The all-aluminum, spring-loaded, kick-up rudder system is designed to hold the rudder blade in a locked-down position yet will kick up when beaching. The high-performance hull design features a high-entry bow with a roll "V" designed to lift the bow of the Aqua Finn through the waves and allow for greater performance from the planing hull. The hull is constructed of hand-laid fiberglass utilizing a sandwich core of "Coremat." The exceptional stiffness of the construction allows lighter weight that is advantageous to speed and ease in car-topping. The deck design includes a molded-in splash rail and a roll cap joint that bonds the hull deck with a 90-degree joint. The gunnel joint includes a black vinyl rub-rail that is through-bolted every 4 inches to achieve a superior bond of the hull and deck. The sail incorporates sail sleeves for both booms to achieve maximum sail pocket control. Standard equipment includes Harken pulley blocks on the boom and in the cockpit for mainsheet control. An optional feature is a Harken Swivel Cam Cleat. | |||
