1986 Aquasport , Up for offers we have this 27 ft aquasport sportfish. This boat is in good shape for her age and is powered with a pair of mecruiser 5.0 inboard motors matched with a pair of mercury velvet drive trannys. We just ran the boat today 50 miles to our dock with no issues at all. The motors fire right up and she cruised at 23knots at 3100 rpm. The well known velvet drives shift smooth with no issues. The manifolds on this boat were replaced a couple weeks ago and the fuel tanks in the boat were replaced a year ago. The boat does need a little tlc to bring out her best mostly cosmetic. She needs a good buffing and cleaning in and out , the stuffing boxes look as though they should be repacked and there is some surface rust on the motors which should be cleaned up. The bottom is nice the hull is solid with no soft spots, The boat was used very regularly by the previous owner so she was not sitting around and it appears she was serviced regularly but was neglected cosmeticaly in my opinion. This is a good boat as it is an original Aquasport , and will make someone a great fishing machine for not a large investment ,the motors are very accessible for maintenance as the forward helm folds forward, access in the console is equaly accessible as you un latch it and it opens completly.
