The Acadia 21e is an electric powered full displacement hull design. It is an easily driven design capable of reaching hull speed (7mph) with very low power. The Acadia 21e is powered by a 48volt outboard motor purpose built and designed as a primary propulsion system. Our efficient hull design and the 48v outboard will supply 8 hours of running at 5.8mph. The overnight recharge cost $2.00. With the optional "T" top and solar panels the sun can recharge your batteries over a period of several days for free! The outboard trims up completely free of the water for worry free dockside storage. Corrosion and electrolysis free.
