These special HP500 motors have been balanced and blueprinted, and have ProCharger superchargers. Intercoolers are new on both motors, Stainless steel exhaust risers have just been inspected and serviced. All shift, throttle, trim tab and drive cables, plus stern drive boots have been replaced (all professionally done, records available). She cruises at 60 mph and tops out at 85 mph. She features a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo with Bose speakers, Garmin GPS Map162, Standard Horizon Intrepid VHF Radio, Lowrance digital depth finder, Ritchie powerdamp compass and K-plane trim tabs. Latham Marine steering system and Capt Choice exhaust. Spare props, Custom Canvas storage cover, Guest Battery Charger, laydown cockpit carpeting all are included. This go-fast cruiser has been continuously cared for by the original owner, all service records are available for review.

Accommodations

Full V-berth with privacy curtain and 12 volt lighting. There are two overhead hatches above for freah air and natural sunlight. There are two sofas that run long ways through the cabin with storage beneath. Beneath the V-berth is space for a porta-potti. There are two additional hanging lockers near the companionway door with curtains for concealing stored items.

Engines

Engines are Mercruiser HP500 that have been balanced and blueprinted. ProCharger superchargers bump these motors up to 750 hp each. The port engine was recently rebuilt ($21k), both Intercoolers have been replaced, Exhaust risers on both engines have just been inspected and serviced. All shift, throttle, drive and K-plane cables have been replaced. All stern drive boots have been replaced. There is an automatic Halon fire supression system for safety.
Engines have been flushed 8 t0 10 min per motor after each and every use.
Latham custom high-speed steering and Captains Choice exhaust system.

Electronics

There are dual batteries with dual battery switches. a Guest Charge Pro 2611 will charge your on board batteries on demand. There are individual breakers and switches for all on board lights, pumps, etc.

Custom Items

There is a custom storage cover that has been made to wrap over the rubrail and cover the swim platform to help keep dust off the stern drives. The swim platform was removed two years ago, stripped and powdercoated to match the teal green paint in the hull and upholstery graphics on the boat. The props that are on the boat now are 32 pitch 4 blade stainless props, puls there is a spare set of 30 pitch props that are stored under the stern seat.

Deck

The large sunpad is comfortable for lounging and enjoying the sunshine. The stern seat is deep and comfortable for your passengers and safe at any speed. The helm and mate seat are wrap-around bucket style seats with drop out bolster bottom that allow you to stand comfortably while running at high-speed. Teal green snap-in cockpit carpeting is comfortable on your bare feet. The upgraded stereo system complete with subwoofer provides quality listening at any boat speed. There is a remote at the helm that the Capt can control while operating the boat.

Handling and performance

This is a very easy boat to drive. She gets up to speed comfortably with little bow rise and runs flat and solid. She responds to trim well, but does not need to be trimmed excessivly to run at high speed. Simply stated, this 29 Baja is a Performance boat that is very easy to drive and handle. And yes, with a full load of fuel, she will easily run at 85 mph.
