The first thing one notices immediately is the bold and dramatic flair of the bow that is reminiscent of the famed Buddy Davis sport fish designs of Palm Beach. It's simply awesome to look at. Coupled with it's hand laid teak trim and helm station, heavy stainless hardware and pop-up cleats, a very cool hidden instrument panel at the helm that rises up at the touch of a switch, and a roomy walk around cockpit that safely surrounds the helm, this boat screams quality and looks fast tied to the dock. It should, she will do 60 mph in seconds and cruises at 40 mph effortlessly. Truly poetry in motion. As soon as you step on board, the solid non skid decks beneath your feet feel strong and stout. The forward deck has two storage compartments, one for anchor and the other for gear and electronics. The larger of the two fwd compartments houses two new 12V marine batteries that are very secure and protected from moisture. They are situated dead center and strategically placed to stay dry, secure and add weight to the bow. In addition, this locker contains the battery switch, a waterproof Standard Horizon VHF and the electrical panel, and battery charger (see photos). There is a 110V power connection for dockside charging and live well operation. Moving aft to the cockpit, there is rod storage to port and starboard beneath the wide teak trimmed gunnels, rod holders on deck in all the right places, a seating or sun pad that spans the entire width of the fwd walk around, and a spectacular hand laid custom teak center steering console with custom brushed nickel steering wheel. The over sized aft platform has live well, fish boxes, pop-up cleats, seat cushions, and a fishing and push pole platform above the custom painted Yahama 225 engine. Comes complete with (3) PirateCom headset systems for stereo and communications while underway. | This boat has been maintained with an open checkbook by an extremely knowledgeable owner. Gelcoat is excellent. No visible dings or scratches. Stored in rack storage high and dry with custom cover for cockpit and engine. Engine has less than 100 hours total with a new power head professionally installed less than 25 hrs ago. The engine cover and lower unit has custom diamond white paint with no decals, making it a nice addition to the package. One cockpit cushion is missing behind the helm on the rear deck , but can be easily obtained. All systems appear to be operational. | |||
