| "Northstar" is an owner version,1996, Beneteau Oceanis 440, which was never charted and had been lightly used.
For 10 years(1996-2006) ,this near new boat, was sailing in sweet water of the Great Lakes, five months a year, and was always stored indoors and heated for the winters , in Chicago. The last 4 years with her previous owner she was stored and have not been used at all. From 2006 to 2009 was sailing the Caribbean sea and the Mediterranean sea. She is very cozy, with Only two cabins - the master cabin is very large and specious, big main saloon , and a comfortable galley. Fully equipped for long term sailing and for living aboard. The Northstar is equipped with a very powerfull 78 hp Perkins engine, with only 1220 hours used, which enables her a cruise speed of 8 knots and more.The engine and the boat, in general, are maintained with a loving and professional care,using genuine parts with the best quality.
