Manufacturer Info

This manufacturer (also known as Blackfin Yachts at different times in its history) built a series of sportfishing boats ranging from 23 to 42 feet long during the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Production finally ceased in 2003, but throughout this time, the company was best known for its 29 and 33 models. Some unusual characteristics included low gunwales (good for landing fish but potentially nerve-wracking for parents of young children) exceptional seakeeping abilities, and large engine boxes in the cockpit. Fortunately, Blackfin is back in business today. But its current line consists of very different center console outboard-powered boats, ranging from 27' to 34'.
