Deep V Hulled Bridge Deck Catamaran Yacht for sale History and Construction - Built under direction from professional yacht designer Steve Turner. The new bridge deck was completed in 2006 and the boat was launched and sailed that year. The 3/8" plywood hulls and 1/4" plywood monocoque superstructure are reinforced with stringers and a layer of glass fibre and epoxy. The modern cabin gives an enormous amount of inside space, with simple accommodation and utilities. There is a good cockpit with seating and access to the cabin via two hatches. Motoring is in the form of the little-used outboard (10 hours). All lines for the sails lead aft to the cockpit. The boat exterior has undergone a complete refurbishment (2010-11) and is currently looking very smart. Easy to sail rig with roller furling genoa and the Tiki style mainsail, loose footed. The interior has been painted (2011) and is having new internal electrics, items for the wiring etc., have been bought but not fitted as yet. The accommodation provides berths for up to five people. There is a galley area and a separate toilet compartment. Comments - - - A unique and special multihull. An excellent condition catamaran that is good to windward with its Tiki-style rig. If you are looking for a strong boat for serious cruising and fancy a catamaran then look no further. Ideal for family holidays or longer afloat.
