The Broom Ocean 37 remains a popular model for both inland and offshore cruising, they have a good reputation for being a strong, safe and comfortable sea going vessel. This model offers excellent and spacious accommodation, and would make an ideal liveaboard as she is heated throughout by a Webasto heating system. This Broom Ocean 37 offers 6 berths in two cabins. The spacious forward cabin with “V” berth, with en-suite, padded side linings with drawers beneath and ample storage lockers and shelving above, overhead reading lights, full length deep wardrobes with storage locker below and shelf above, dressing table unit with mirror, overhead light, shelf and drawers beneath. Anchor chain locker, escape hatch, 12v socket. The en-suite offers sink and shelf unit with hot & cold mixer tap and shower, electric flush toilet, mirror, storage cabinet below sink, shaver socket, blind, easy clean surfaces, wooden shower grate. Saloon, lower helm position with full instrumentation and optional helmsman seat. 24v & 240v sockets at the helm. A folding TV table with power points & aerial booster, large “C” shaped seating area converting into a double berth, extending teak dining table with folding leaves, two bucket seats with storage beneath, a storage cabinet to the starboard side includes drinks locker, 24v consumer panel and a chest of three drawers. Folding chart table with adjustable light, with the VHF radio locker above. With teak grabrails in the head lining and stainless steel grab rails to the seating and galley steps. Steps down to the aft passageway wet locker and aft cabin. Aft Cabin, 2 single berths with padded side linings, each with shelf and side locker, overhead reading lights, dressing table with large mirror, large shelf, overhead light, four drawers with double fronted cupboard. En-suite comprises of a sink unit with hot and cold water, with locker below, electric flush toilet, shower, mirror, shaver socket, wooden shower grate with easy clean surfaces. Galley comprises of a stainless steel sink and drainer with hot and cold water with storage below, Colette gas oven and grill, Flavel 3 burner gas hob with stainless steel fiddle rail, extractor fan, Electrolux fridge freezer unit, open crockery storage shelving unit, cutlery drawer, a large cupboard which houses the gas shut off valve 240v socket, 12v socket, water tank gauge, and the 240v consumer panel. The water is heated via an Immersion & Calorifer fed from a 100 gallon tank. |

The Broom Ocean 37 is powered by twin Perkins 145hp turbo diesel engines, freshwater cooled, (last serviced in August 2012) with an impressive 200 gallon fuel tank. |

3 x 12v batteries (2009) charging from the engine alternator and solar panel, battery charger. A 240v ring main is fitted throughout the boat with inverter. |
