| A revolutionary design in the traditional express segment the BLUE STAR 36 was really the first Salon Express with the ?open to below? concept which has become the standard. The helm deck offers exceptional visibility, light and ventilation and is very much connected with the lower deck space. She is an absolute pleasure to cruise aboard if you like to see the sites and feel like you are outdoors while in the climate controlled interior. The helm deck settee converts to a double bunk and there are privacy curtains surrounding the pilot house. Below a functional galley to port services an opposing dinette for six to starboard. The dinette converts to a double sleeper. Forward a head to port with hand shower is common to the passageway and dual entry en-suite to the forward cabin. A generous island double berth is supplemented with side filler cushions to create nearly king size sleeping space. Hanging locker, lockers and drawers abound. Of course the all important deck hatch directly above to pillows allows falling to sleep with the stars and awaking to the dawn sunshine!
