Wharf Marina, Inc.
Wharf Marina, Inc.
Based in Pulaski, Wisconsin, Carver Yachts has carved a niche in the recreational boating marketplace as a builder of flybridge cruisers that maximize every usable inch on board for improved entertaining areas and accommodations that are among the most spacious in their class. And those creature comforts are incorporated into cruising platforms that have been proven both durable and dependable. While the Carver brand has been on the scene since 1954, the builder really made its mark in 1984 as a pioneer of the aft cabin motor yacht, a style of boat that became synonymous with the brand for the next decade. Today, the company manufacturers a model line that ranges from a new C34 to the flagship 54 Voyager. Carver designs represent good value as each model comes with a number of standard features, including the Carver Docking System that’s comprised of high-capacity bow and stern thrusters.
Only 140 hours
2007 Carver 36 Mariner, twin 375 HP Crusader 6.0, only 140 hours, great condition. The Mariner is an extremely popular boat from Carver for many reasons: A cross between a sport boat and a flybridge cruiser, salon and forward stateroom all on one level, easy steps up either side of cockpit to helm which seats eleven, wide access both sides to bow seating and anchor windlass, water and waste deckplates and folding fender holders .
Ample storage under seating, lockers, cabinets, slide out drawers, underneath stateroom berth and overhead cabinets.
The forward parts of the engines and through hulls can be accessed by raising the stairs, just inside the sliding glass door three steps down into the salon. Maintenance access to engine room is from deck hatches in cockpit which completely uncover engines, the five batteries, battery switches, and generator.
The boat is spacious and comfortable, 6'3" salon headroom, separate stand up shower in head, wide beam with storage under dinette, L-shaped lounge, cedar lockers and drawers in stateroom, and roomy galley with overhead pass-through to bridge. Excellent visibility from bridge, which is lower than most fly bridges for better overhead clearance and increased stability under way. Families can spread out topside, sampling the breeze under way in the forward seating, congregating in the bridge at the optional bridge table with drinks from the wet bar and fridge, splashing from the swim platform, taking meals at the dinette down in the salon or chairs taking in the sunset from the cockpit.
At the end of the day the forward stateroom affords privacy with the solid door and separate access to the head and shower. Enjoy an extended hot shower with the 75 gallon fresh water capacity including the 11 gallon hot water heater before settling down for the night with either the hatches and screens open to a cool evening breeze, or the two-zone air conditioning.
Weekends at anchor "on the hook" or exotic ports await your exploration, but even days at your own marina are like vacation days away from it all.
Price includes a summer slip at Wharf Marina for the 2014 summer season if SYS is the selling broker.
