Sailors have been enjoying practical and affordable sailboats from Catalina Yachts since 1970, when Frank Butler founded the company in Southern California. Their philosophy is to “design boats that stand up to real world conditions, sail well, are comfortable above and below, are easy to maintain and hold their value”. As the company exceeds four decades in the business, it’s clear they’ve been delivering on that promise through all the ups and downs in the industry. Chief designer Gerry Douglas struck a chord recently with the 5 Series, which is a completely new design concept that includes four models from 31 to 44 feet. These boats are durable and fast sailors, are well organized, feature the large signature Catalina cockpit, and offer features that emphasize safety like lifelines that are for more than just decoration.

The Catalina 390 provides a combination of accommodations, deck space and performance unequalled in a yacht under 40 feet. This is the same boat as the C380 but with the three staterooms instead of the two staterooms on the 380.

In-Boom Furler makes this boat easy to furl without the issues of the in-mast furlers have.

The owner says: "This is a great family boat with three berths, a new jib, a boom furling and great electronics. We spent a lot of our summers up at the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Many times exceeding 10 knots crossing the Rhode Island Sound."

Come see this great family boat at our New London Facility, now. She won't last long at this price.
