Read this description about the Celere 47, and click on full specs to learn more.

What makes this a unique opportunity?  The Celere is first and foremost equisitely designed and built to the highest standard anywhere.  She is designed to perform well at all points of sail, log 200 mile offshore days, and provide everything you could want to enjoy a sail around the world or an exhilirating afternoon spin.  She is built to last for decades and has a long life ahead of her.  Simply put, she will take you wherever you want to go, safely and solidly, near and far, in the utmost luxury and comfort, and afford a lot of fun and enjoyment along the way.  She's everything you want and need, and she'll do whatever you ask of her.

The Celere is thoroughly equipped for cruising, with performance in mind.  Sample this cross section of her features:  Yanmar 77 hp engine, Northern Lights 6KW generator, washer/dryer, watermaker, air conditioning/reverse cycle heat, electronics, inverter, max prop, lazyjacks, roller furling genoa, rod rigging, hydraulic backstay and vang, spinnaker and pole.

This Celere 47  was built in 1988-1989 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.  Her construction is 13 layers of hand laid fiberglass over 3/4" Airex foam.  Her construction is top notch, copper plumbing, etc.  She was a demo boat until 2000, when she had numerous equipment upgrades and started cruising.  She cruised from San Francisco to Florida.  She is a performance oriented blue water cruising boat, with a roomy center cockpit design.  The Sorensen Yachts Celere was built to the highest standard, to cruise swiftly and blue water race if desired.  What you get is an elegant, comfortable, sturdy sailboat that will comfortably outperform her class.

This center cockpit design is carefully crafted to provide maximum interior and exterior comfort.  There is 6'4" headroom throughout the boat including the walkway aft, and the cockpit is deep, comfortable and secure.  All of this room is afforded to the interior and the exterior, which manages to remain surprisingly low off the water.  Coupled with the Celere's performance characteristics, the design offers comfort and easy enjoyment, sailing and cruising.

This Sorensen Celere yacht is in extremely good condition, outfitted to cruise in comfort and safety, and a joy to sail.  She has sailed from San Francisco to Florida, and has only just begun.  She is in the water and ready to sail, easy to visit from Jacksonville airport.
