The Cervigon 42 has been designed by the Italian studio Luca Brenta, it offers safety and ease of steering without a crew thanks to its water ballast system while it also has the power to compete with a full crew in the typical offshore regattas in the Med. She is build entirely in carbon fiber. The building system used is SP Pre-Preg. This system is able to reduce the weight considerably and united with Foam Core Material we get a hight performance structures. C-42 is equipped with hydraulic system and water ballast system (800 liters each tank) The carbon mast has running backstay in case of square head mainsail or backstay in case standard mainsail.
