This 1980 aluminium charter boat was purpose built for Lake Taupo and with the everlasting properties of aluminium in fresh water she has a virtually maintenance free hull and superstructure. The shallow draft allows for beach access and the auxilliary trolling engine ensures fishing at the optimum speed with negligible fuel burn. Over night stays on the lake have always been a specialty. Waianiwa has entertained the rich and famous on Lake Taupo for nearly 30 years.
