Feeling much larger inside and out than her length suggests, this US-built family cruiser features a striking "modernist" all-white interior -- most surfaces are easy-to-maintain Formica, thus still crisp and sharp-looking to this day. Boathouse-kept, so exterior also in great condition -- fresh bottom-paint as well.  Unexpected economy even up on-plane, cruising at 14-15 knots: only 10gph -- no, not from diesels, but from modern (1996) fuel-injected gas engines, with under 300 hours on top-to-bottom overhauls.  Up to 19 knots available, to get out of the way of a storm...   Sleeps up to eight PLUS two grand-kids; in two staterooms with en-suite heads (each with separate showers!) as well as on-dinette and on-hide-a-bed sofa.  Generator or inverter for underway 110vAC power.  Clean, tidy engine-room; dry bilges... definitely an "oldie-but-goodie" from the early years of robust fiberglass construction.

This imposing Aft-Cabin MotorYacht is actually quite easy to board, as the carpeted swim-platform is clear from dinghy-obstruction; that Livingston-type dinghy hangs well-aft on Snap-davits, giving wide path to the centerline ladder up to long open aft-deck.  This deck has faux-teak pattern on the fiberglass, and is also carpeted in modern Berber-texture (edge-bound).  Or put down the removable ladder to dock, from either side-gate thru aft-deck's surrounding plexiglass windbreak-panels, which are attached to the teak-capped SSTL safety railing.  This railing extends all the way forward to sweep around the graceful curve of the prow, teak-capped most of the way.

Foredeck is also an entertaining area, as the trunk-cabin incorporates seating molded into its forward end.  Unique very large centerline chock takes the place of bowsprit/anchor-platform, keeping mooring length shorter.  Husky vertical-shaft windlass brings up the large but lightweight aluminum Fortress (Danforth-pattern) anchor -- effortlessly. Brackets hold fabric-covered large-diameter fenders.

It's true stairs (not a ladder) from aft-deck to the flybridge, which seats three abreast on individual bench-helmseats, richly upholstered in thick white vinyl.  Yet another wide bench-seat behind this row...  Radome is on stout square pole to port, easily pivoted down for low-headroom undercover moorages. Navigation electronics reside inside a wide "garage"; flip-up door keeps them dry. All engine gages are newer, to complement the recently-installed replacement engines. Big under-cowl storage lockers with wide-opening doors!

Go down similar stairs from aft-deck into the bright open salon, perceived as even larger since it flows without break right into the "down" Dinette and "down" Galley; only a safety railing separates these two levels. Salon is "un-constructed"; that is, absent built-in furniture, so can be outfitted as desired.  Items that will stay aboard include new (2009) FlexSteel sofa (upholstered in soft UltraLeather) that pulls out to become a Double bed; wood end-tables with storage (one has built-in stereo); and large flat-screen TV attached to starboard-side wall, flanked by stereo speakers.  Light floods in thru aluminum-framed windows with screened sliders at both forward and aft ends, as well as thru the three-panel windshield (recently re-glazed with tinted glass), whose center panel tilts open.  Lower helm nestles into the forward starboard corner of the salon, taking up very little living-space.

Down stairs into the Dinette area, directly across from the Galley - both well-lit by more long aluminum-framed slider-windows, obviously not quite as tall as the Salon windows.  Dinette breaks down into full double berth; has convenient long shelf under the side-deck below the window; cavernous storage under the dark-green vinyl seating, with patterned seatbacks for a bit of variety.  Galley has preferred propane stove with oven, over-stove hood with filtered fan, newer tall Norcold fridge with separate-door freezer, microwave, and large single-basin sink.  Flooring is easy-clean wood-pattern laminate.

What's striking in this interior is how bright it is:  nearly all surfaces (bulkheads, walls, doors, cabinet-fronts) are finished in easy-care -- and essentially un-blemished -- white Formica.  With just a bit of wood-trim, the effect is rather like modern-architecture minimalist, almost "bauhaus"... complemented by the subdued grey Berber carpeting.  Overhead is covered in white vinyl; clean -- clearly a non-smoker's boat so far.   Same decor extends into the two staterooms.  LED lighting at many of the fixtures, for efficiency and frosty-cool appearance.
