`Oh Wooden Aye` was designed by Naval Architect Kenneth L. Smith and built by artisan Rod Marple at the famed Lovett Marine Boat Yard in Longport, New Jersey for Mr. Lovett (of Lovett Bilge Pump fame) inspected every piece of wood and all materials used in the construction while Rod spent from 1963 to the summer of 1967 completing this masterpiece. Built out of Mahogany on 7` Oak frames `Oh Wooden Aye` ex `Callisto` represents the finest constructed vessel of its type ever built.
