Both the 'build quality' and fit-out are of a high standard, earning the Dale Nelson craft a world-wide name for their appeal. This attention to detail also applies to the lay-out, resulting in the enjoyment of ownership and use. This craft characterises these qualities. With the over-all length of 13m and beam of nearly 4m, it has been possible to provide a generous Cockpit, a Wheelhouse Saloon with facing settees, shelving for books, etc., glass and china cupboards and tables which, by use of superior cushions, create additional berths. The raised helm and navigator's positions provide excellant vision and control. The forward companionway leads below to the Galley and dinette - again superbly created in subtle colours and hard-wood finish. A Heads compartment offers, shower, hand-basin and toilet (with holding tank). Forward is the Owners' Quarters with double berth, spacious lockering and light from over-head hatches as well as subtle lighting fixtures. The accommodation has fitted carpet throughout and hard-wood trim with easy-clean surfaces. With both low volt (12 & 24v DC) circuits and 240v AC, it is possible to use a wide range of equipment including TV, radio and standard Galley equipment. A warm air system by Eberspacher is installed, extending use beyond the normal summer season. Recommended for enjoyment afloat all the year round. |
