RECENT PRICE REDUCTION!! This rare little gem was built in Holland by De Vries Lentsch--the yard that is today world renowned as Feadship, builder of mega-yachts costing upwards of $75 million--and has all the charm you'd expect on a vessel with such a pedigree. Constructed of black iron (25 tons of it!), teak, oak and mahogany and brought over to the states at great expense 20-some-odd years ago; today Zinkvis shows very nicely and will make an ideal liveaboard or weekend retreat. The boat really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Wood paneled sole to overhead below deck, she's cozy in the winter and, with an abundance of opening hatches and companionways, light and airy in summer. Her aft deck is enclosed in isinglass for year-round comfort, she's powered by a single 85hp diesel (which burns barely over a gallon of fuel an hour) and is steered from a comfortable pilothouse. Having been a liveaboard for many years (at one time on the River Seine, click FULL SPECS above to see attached photo), she has all the house systems needed aboard a pied-a-mer. Note she's lying in a Sausalito slip which may consider taking a liveaboard; this is a material benefit if you're able to take advantage as liveaboard slips in Sausalito are almost IMPOSSIBLE to come by... Shown by appointment, please. |
