This well-known French brand began life in the late 1960s with Michel Dufour’s iconic 30ft Arpege. This design was one of the first to fully embrace the possibilities of the then new boat building material of fibreglass. It featured a curved superstructure, a short keel with separate skeg-hung rudder, wide beam and a heavy bulb on the bottom of the keel to maximise stability. Other larger (35 and 41ft) models followed, as did a slightly more modest range of cruisers, but the original company was another that did not weather the 1980s downturn. However, the name was revived in the following decade, with a range of modern cruising yachts that immediately proved popular and within a few years the line-up was expanded with three performance cruiser designs between 34-45ft.
Modern sleek looking yacht with powerful lines. This performance cruising yacht will deliver on every front, whether just sailing for pleasure or fast comfortable cruising.
