The FARMONT shipyard is proud to present its largest project to date, a 38 metre / 125 feet custom built ocean-going yacht, the FARMONT FY 38 metre. Designed by the well-known Dutch naval architect René van der Velden, this expedition-style vessel has beautiful lines, a range of 6,000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 14 knots. Although the hull and superstructure have been completed, the interior can still be entirely customised to an owner´s individual requirements one may choose between alternative layout plans concerning design, materials and floor plan. The present design proposes classical styling, with beamed ceilings and raised-panel joinery. Despite her length, the FARMONT FY 38 metre can be managed by a very small crew and is also ideal for charter, which might be an attractive option for potential owners who do not plan to use their yacht the year round.
