Tioga was built by Philbrooks in Canada in 1979 and designed by William Garden. She has a fiberglass hull, superstructure and deck and has hardened glass portlights in white PVC frames. She has a clipper bow, canoe stern, low freeboard, modified full-encapsulated lead keel and a skeg hung rudder. She is remarkably maneuverable even under reduced sail. |

She has a classic teak interior which features two cabins. She has approximately 6' 2" headroom. Her salon is long and L-shaped with a settee on the port side with TV/video unit and opposite to starboard is a long settee. Prisms over both settees add additional cabin light. Her interior is heated by a Dickenson Arctic diesel heater as well as a buss heater. An opening skylight and large opening port over the stove offer natural lighting and ventilation in the galley area. The cabin has a double V-berth. The aft stateroom has a double berth with full headroom and walk around floor space, bureau, medicine cabinet, shelved locker, double berth (over 7 feet long) and opening ports.
