Founded by brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti in 1968, Ferretti Yachts began with the production of a very successful 10-metre wooden motor-sailer before introducing its first dedicated motoryacht in 1982. It built sport fisher models both in open and flybridge format with some resoundingly fresh technical innovations, including a stern helm position and an internal passage from the saloon to the upper deck. Today, however, Ferretti is dedicated entirely to the design and production of high-end flybridge motoryachts. The current range comprises 14 craft from the 15-metre 500 to the flagship 960 - a 29-metre express cruiser and the largest recreational planing yacht ever built by the yard. This new flagship craft is due for launch in the Spring of 2013.
