Boat is in the yard in Seabrook. Starting complete paint and metal re-finishing from water line up.

Bobbie Lee is a capable blue water, long distance, and classically styled pilothouse trawler with a Portuguese bridge designed by Naval Architect Charles Neville.  She has a robust steel hull with aluminum superstructure, gasketed double dogged doors, and double thick safety glass windows. She is an extremely sea capable boat that has a very low fuel burn rate at cruise speed. Forward v-berth and rear Queen Master. All of her equipment and appliances were carefully selected for safety, longevity, ease of maintenance, and replacement. If you are looking for a purpose built classically styled trawler that is safe and efficient with liveaboard accomodations then Bobbie Lee is your boat.

Broker Observations

The Bobbie Lee is in Port Aransas Texas. Getting qoutes from area Yards for metal and paint work.

Interior:  For a vessel of it's age and condition the interior is nice.

Mechanically: The boat just made a  3000 mile trip from Columbia (summer 2013)-then Florida - now Texas.  I think that says alot about the confidence the owner has in it despite high hours (8000 +/-) on mains and genset.

Exterior:  Boat in yard for full paint.

Bottom redone July 2013
