Description

A 40' Fox Island Hardtop Cruiser 2002, built in New Brunswick, Canada as an ideal Downeast-style vessel for a couple, with occasional guests in 2 separate sleeping areas. This hull, originally built as a commercial fishing hull Northumberland style, is unique for her extreme flared bow and sheer, and wide beam aft, making her extremely seaworthy and safe. With her large cockpit and second steering station, she is also suitable for fishing. With her large pilothouse windows, ventilation and visibility are excellent. Her single Yanmar 370 hp diesel provides 15 knot cruising speeds, while offering a relatively quiet ride. This is a large, spacious, comfortable vessel offered at a very reasonable asking price. She is very well-equipped for cruising on an anchor, with solar panels to charge batteries, a large inverter, a high output alternator, propane and engine bus heat but no air conditioning. She also has a heavy duty windlass, excellent ground tackle, and a full complement of electronics including Autopilot and three GPS's and radar.

Please come and inspect this 40' Fox Island Hardtop Cruiser. Six sisterships have been built and their owners have been very satisfied. Thank you for your interest.
