Significant price-drop-- owner's health not improving, so he can't do his long cruises anymore.... Make offers! One of Gary Mull's "second-generation" Freedom designs: Freedom's unstayed carbon-fiber mast allows for ultimate simplicity - powerful deep-roach main has full-length battens easily sliding up-mast thanks to batt-car type track system. Sloop rig gives added versatility of a self-tending foresail on a boom. Set up for single-handing, with both autopilot AND wind-vane; all lines led to cockpit -- Octogenarian owner (since 1991!) still single-hands her, but realizes his days of going to the Broughtons and further north (alone) are nearing an end. A true two-stateroom layout: private enclosed double-berth stateroom aft of the large navigation station as well as traditional forepeak enclosed stateroom. Recent canvas: new dodger, mainsail cover and jib bag on-boom. Interior teak woodwork in very good condition! No tears, stains or spills on original fabrics. Fresh bottom paint AND engine servicing April 2012 -- she's ready for your cruising! ----- Please call at least a day in-advance for viewing, as owner moors boat just off a private island in SouthSound, and will bring the boat to nearest mainland dock, with sufficient advance notice. |
