Description/Condition

This rig is off shore ready with twin (2006) EVINRUDE E-TEC 175 motors, Installed new in 2007. Used LITTLE WITH LESS THAN 60 HOURS......PRICE REDUCED !! The Glacier Bay 260 Canyon Runner is built in Washington State to meet the rigors of the Pacific Ocean. This boat runs on a pair of sharp, thin displacement hulls that allows her to reach higher speeds with less horse power and the wetted surface is reduced compared to an equal sized monohull. Weighing just 4200 lbs she is lighter than most vessels in her class also.
While catamarans are great for fishing due to the excellent rough water capabilities, they also make great family boats that lend themselves equally well to diving, cruising, and entertaining. Regardless of the activity, the Glacier Bay 260 Canyon Runner will beat all expectations. This particular vessel has been kept on a lift and has enjoyed superior maintenance throughout her life.

Broker Remarks: Here is the ultimate offshore ride with tower and dual controls and to boot has installed late model Evinrude E-TEC 175hp with only 60hrs and WARRANTY. The popularity of catamarans is increasing every year, and for good reason. Primarily, they are a much better ride than traditional 'V' bottoms. They really out-perform other boats in light to heavy seas. Glacier Bays are heading out while traditional vessels of this size are heading in for shelter. This boat has all the right equipment to include GPS, bottom machine, outriggers, live well, large in deck fish boxes, Tower with dual controls, auto pilot on both helm controls, bam comes to mind! This vessel is a displacement hull catamaran that exhibits unbelievable handling characteristics and will always out-perform comparable monohulls in a nasty chop with a greater degree of comfort for the helmsman and passengers. In September of 1996 a 26' Canyon Runner became the first unassisted outboard-powered vessel to complete the 728-mile trip from the U.S. mainland to the Bermuda Islands. THIS IS THE BOAT AND SHE IS PRICED TO SELL WITH THE ENGINE PACKAGE AND LOW HOURS AND ELECTRONICS, SHE IS TIGHT.
