It has been very well taken care of and is ready for a big fishing adventure! The boat was purchased by the owner four years ago since that time they have added a $7,000 custom made trailer, over $13,000 in digital navigational equipment, and had the bottom painted at a cost of $1,500. The bottom was painted in 2011. We have maintained the boat per Yamaha specifications and in accordance with Grady White recommendations. This boat is in prime condition and it is reflected in the 2008 survey we had done, as being "Above Average". The 2008 survey was done by Gulf Coast Marine Survey Inc. If a new survey was done, the boat would still receive an "Above Average" overall vessel rating. This rare 232 was special ordered for more speed, better fuel economy, and more offshore range. Most of the twin engine 232's on the market come standard with twin 150HP Four Strokes. This boat has twin Yamaha 200 HP Four Strokes that provide better overall performance. The Yamaha Performance numbers from Grady White for this boat are as follows: Twin 200 HP Four Strokes cruise optimally at 4000 RPM @ 35 MPH burning 14.7 GPH Twin 150 HP Four Strokes cruise optimally at 4300 RPM @ 30.7 MPH burning 14.5 GPH By comparison the twin 150 HP Four Strokes burn 15.7 GPH @ only 33.1 MPH. In summary, the twin 200 HP Four Stroke configuration allows for a range of 350.4 miles while the 150s only allow for a range of 309.52 miles. On top of efficiency you can get there faster. Trolling for salmon using one of the Twin 200HP Four Strokes provides a perfect trolling speed for Chinook salmon when at idle. For slower trolling speeds simply tilting one motor up slightly will allow setting the perfect speed for the species sought. No additional trolling motors are needed. The Grady White 23 Gulfstream is one of the biggest 23' fishing boats on the market. Her 9'3" beam makes her extremely stable, while trolling and at rest. This extremely well cared for Gulfstream has less than 580 hrs on twin 200 HP Yamaha 4 strokes at the time of this listing.
