Description/Condition

V-8 diesel powerplant sets this 36 Grand-Banks TriCabin apart from most others:  smooth single Caterpillar 3160 has nearly the power of the more-complex twin Lehman installations!  Boathouse-kept, her exterior finishes - both paint and brightwork -  are top-notch; virtually no grain-wastage on the still-tight teak decks. Salon features a custom countertop with sliding-door storage, in place of the straight salon settee -- but easily converted back, as all settee components still available.  Large drop-down chart-table directly above this counter...  Still has that original teak-door Stainless-lined fridge; four-burner propane stove.  Two separate forced-air propane furnaces!  Custom electrical panels, extra batteries.  Tidy engine-room; fuel-tanks appear excellent, no exterior corrosion.  Recent out-of-water survey confirms very solid overall condition; aggressively priced well below survey value!

Salon

Traditional L-shaped settee around folding-leaf dining table; pleasant light-patterned fabric upholstery.

Table drops to create double berth.

Where straight settee USUALLY is (-- across from dinette), now there is a long counter-top with sliding-door storage cabinet beneath -- matches galley counter!

Settee components still available; quick conversion back to original configuration

Above counter-top is large drop-down chart-table hinged from overhead.

Just aft of side-door is cabinet with fold-down writing desk, fitted drinking-glass storage, and drawers.

Pleasant pleated linen drapes thru-out

Original perforated vinyl head-liner - very good condition, not soiled.

Teak grab-bar down centerline of salon, overhead.

Sliding side windows; hinged opening central windshield forward.

Tight teak-parquet floors.

Traditional V-berths; traditional large hanging locker at entry.

Long drawers under V-berths.

Hatch to foredeck reconfigured with translucent plastic cover; solar vent in center.

En-suite head compartment with manual toilet, sstl sink in corner shelf.

Master Stateroom aft

Double berth to starboard.  Large hanging locker at entry.

Single berth to port, has removable seatback-board and cushions, to make up comfortable settee.

Drawers behind teak ladder to aft-deck exit.

Elegant stained-glass insert in aft-cabin doors (salmon-pattern).

En-suite head compartment has electric toilet, inset SSTL sink, sliding-door under-sink cabinets, huge mirror, separate faucet for shower (teak floor grating).

Heating options

TWO "Proplex" propane ducted forced-air furnaces -- one for salon, one for aft master stateroom.  Vented outside to side-deck walkways, not thru-hull (thus cannot "burn" adjacent moored boat!)

Two forced-air electric cabin heaters

"red dot" engine-heat below side-door step, to heat salon while underway.

Flybridge

Fore'n'aft seating - helmsman's double-wide to starboard, single-wide at co-pilot side to port -- pleasant blue-to-white striped pattern will disguise dirt...

Complete area teak-decking overlay over plywood cabintop.

Massive 8-spoke teak wheel

Full Stewart-Warner engine-gage set.

Morse throttle and shift levers.

Datamarine digital Depth gage.

Icom VHF

Ritchie PowerDamp Compass

Very good condition teak decking -- minimal grain washout, still nearly flat.  Between-plank caulking still resilient.

Cabin-side and flybridge coaming finishes are excellent-condition marine-enamel.

Teak caprail and safety-railings have bristol finish.

True "air-horn"
