Sudiki has been modified especially for chartering and enjoyable passages. Each of the three cabins has its own ‘Lavac’ head and ‘on demand’ hot water heating element for the showers. The forward cabin has been modified so as to accommodate a modified ‘queen’ size bunk. The two single bunks in the mid-ship cabin can be combined into a double bunk; and, the aft cabin also has a ‘queen’ size bunk with a single bunk to port. The main saloon has an extensive entertainment center with: HDTV with 5 channel surround sound system, DVD player with extensive library, and CD player also with an extensive library. Complementing the airy saloon is new upholstery (2012); a handsome clock, barometer and bell ensemble; a library and lively art. The well laid-out L shaped galley has a 3 burner “Seaward Princess” gimbaled cooker with a convection oven; three sinks; and, 1-fridge and 2 freezers. Extensive storage for provisions is evident throughout via both top loading and side loading lockers. Crockery, cutlery and utensils are made easily accessible from open shelves with fiddles as well as waist high lockers. The navigation station to starboard is well laid out with an ample chart table, radio and navigation instruments and an extensive electrical distribution/load sharing panel.

Spars & Sails
Cutter rigged with keel stepped 12 VDC roller furling ‘Hood Stoway’ high aspect configuration aluminium mast and boom. Hood furling head stay and baby stay shrouds. Standing rigging in good condition, running rigging renewed and reconfigured to accommodate a single-handed capability in 2012. Adjustable ‘Navtech’ hydraulic backstay.

The sails are all by ‘Shore Sails’, furling and in good condition. Total available sail area is 1,566 sq. ft.

The vessel is powered by a Perkins Sabre M225Ti, 225 hp, 6 cylinder diesel engine installed in 1997 and located beneath the cockpit and is accessible aft of the main companionway steps. Hydraulic transmission with flexible coupling and stainless steel shaft which terminates in a 3 bladed ‘Maxprop’ folding prop. Electrical Power is supplied by a Phasor Mod. K3-9.5W generator which was installed in May, 2008. The fresh water supply is augmented with a ‘HRO’ 220VAC reverse osmosis, 25 gal/hr. watermaker.
The electrical systems is split between a 120/240 AC side and a 12 VDC side. Integration is accomplished through either a 240 V-12V ‘Xantrax’ inverter/charger or a 120V-12V ‘Xantrax’ inverter/charger. In addition there is a 240/120 transformer which makes both AC sides available as one. The generator is currently wired for 240. Either inverter/charger can charge either of the two sets of 12v house banks. Each house bank is made up of 6 x 6 volt ‘Trojan T-105’ deep cycle batteries. Additionally, there is a dedicated engine battery which is charged either from a high output AC charger or from the ‘Balmar 125 amp. Alternator on the engine. All systems are controlled from the extensive electrical panel at the navigation station. There is also a 120 and a 240 shore power outlet to accommodate various dock side supply configurations.

Sudiki is hull #4 in this series of Gulfstar’s 60’ yachts. As such, she has carbon fiber bulkheads in the chain plate area as well as carbon fiber horizontal stringers that are glassed into the hull and run its full length. Over the years several modifications have been made to improve her interior lay-out as well as her performance. These modifications have all been made in accordance with the highest standards. In 2008 the deck seams were reefed and re-calked. The result has been a custom, world class yacht with clean, clutter-free decks that is easy and fun to sail. A perfect yacht for either chartering or extended cruising.
Since we purchased Sudiki in 2004 we have continually upgraded and maintained her. We have always run the yacht ourselves and started chartering in 2006. She has been well cared for and never abused. We are interested in selling her with, or without the business.
