Tara has been exceptionally well maintained by her owners; annual maintenance lasting 103 weeks. New in 2013: cockpit cover, heads & pipework, anode stubs, trim tab motors, top of range in situ battery charger, 4 new batteries.
Tara manages cross channel trips very well, robust at sea because of her semi-displacement and weight with good power she can be pushed over the seas without slamming, and generally cruisises between 12.5 & 15 knots. Engine hours are only about 570, no long distance trips having been undertaken since 2005, her fuel consumption has been consistant as 6.5 - 7 gallons per hour - fuel log available.
