This Harris design sailing vessel was a five year project for three generations of the same family. The project started out in a 22' garage and then had to moved outside as the garage was 12' too short. When the five year construction project was finished she was christened and launched (1993) with intentions of long days of sailing on the Great Lakes. Before the dream could become reality the owners wife back ill with the desire to sail slipping away. The craft has spent most of the last twenty years on her trailer under canvas. it's time now for the boat to move on.

Silveraro, is a home built, 1981 Harris design 34’ Trimaran sloop rigged sailing cruiser
HELM: Bridge area in aft cockpit with all engine, navigation controls, dodger type canvas bimini with windscreen, mechanical wheel steering, sailing winches, tracks, cars, cam cleats, blocks. VHF radio in cabin. All appear to be in good condition. Cockpit has two self bailing scuppers which drain overboard, folding door to aft cabin and removable door to forward cabin. Good access to systems.
INTERIOR: Forward cabin with head area, galley area, v-berth sleeping area, and setting area. Port and starboard aluminum frame windows in forward and aft cabin areas. Interior finished in natural mahogany and teak ceiling boards, bulkheads, sole. Natural panels glued to cabin top.
DOMESTIC WATER:  15 gallon polyethylene tank and system mounted in engine room.
No hot water system heater.
SANITATION:  manual head with separate holding tank. Side deck discharge port.
STEERING: Mechanical, wheel and cable type, brackets securely mounted to hull structure, with quadrant steering arm at rudder, rudder shaft packing secure.
Ice box refrigeration, 2 burner LPG counter top unit, stainless steel sink, adequate storage areas.
One diesel powered naturally aspirated two  cylinder engine, Volvo-Penta, model MD7A, 13 horsepower, raw water cooling system for engine with bronze seacock and strainer, raw water muffled, cooled exhaust with double clamped hose, Volvo-Penta 110S vertical shaft saildrive, with fixed 2 blade propeller. No hour meter. Condition: Engine mounts, fuel lines, throttle cables, wiring all appear in good condition.
FUEL:  tank approximately 18 gallons, welded stainless steel, mounted under cockpit sole, starboard side of engine, copper and hose fuel lines to engine with Racor fuel water separator.. No manufacturer’s label on tank. Tank vent lines and approved thru hull flame arrestor fittings at side hull.
Ship’s power:  12 volt marine deep cycle, wet cell battery, 110 amp hour,  distribution panel at galley area with branch circuit fuses. Guest battery selector safety switch, Guest battery Smart switch with 0-15v meter for battery condition and load monitor.
Shore power:  120 volt x 30 amp twist lock receptacle at port side of superstructure.

HULL AND DECK:
FRP sandwich construction with airex core, off white gelcoat above the waterline and deck, blue bottom paint over epoxy barrier coat, in good condition, with a few dings, gouges and scratches. Decks are also cored FRP. Some areas of the hulls and decks are in need of cleaning and waxing to remove minor oxidation. Sections of the superstructure show minor gelcoat crazing which is not structural. The keel is a fin style constructed of FRP laminated over foam core with no ballast. The 40’ extruded aluminum mast is cabin top stepped, with a compression post setting on twin bulkheads over the keel. The three hulls are bolted to two welded stainless steel box beam crossarms which are in good condition. Moisture checked on  hulls - negative. Soundings also negative - no detectable delamination areas.
GROUND TACKLE: Approx 25 # CQR anchor with 1/2” x 100’ nylon twist anchor rode, no chain.
