The appealing concept of the Truly Classic 90 is extremely well suited for private as well as charter use.
The TC90 design features 2 deckhouses, of which the forward one holds a deck salon, as well as two cockpits and is specifically designed for use in the Mediterranean and other warmer areas where you spend most of the time on deck and only sleep below. The consequences for the lay-out of this concept was that the two deck houses facilitate an aft owner’s cabin with sufficient headroom and that they generate lots of space and light below deck, both in the saloon and in the owner’s cabin. The new layout will work very well for a family boat that can be sailed by the owner. Two to Three crew are required to maintain the boat and sail her while chartering.
The first Truly Classic 90 in series was launched at Claasen Jachtbouw in The Netherlands in 2008, immediately winning the International Super Yacht Design Award that year.
The second Truly Classic 90 hull which was built ahead by the yard, was completed for a private owner and was launched by in July 2009. A third TC90 aluminium hull, including exterior paintwork and exterior wood work has been completed. The yacht is offered "as is" in order to be completed or the yacht can be offered as completed yacht. As the TC90 has been received so well, the yard has decided to build jet another hull # 4 on spec. As experienced with the previous projects, they are offering an attractive delivery time reduction to approximately 12 months, instead of 18 to 20 months. Due to the achieved production efficiency , the yacht can be offered at very economic conditions indeed. Presently there are 4 interior layout options to choose from, however clients are still offered to implement some of their personal adjustments and preferences.
