SPRING PRICE REDUCTION ON THIS GREAT, COMFORTABLE CRUISER, WELL EQUIPPED for sailing the Northwest! This Hunter 36 is one that we sold to its first and only owners when it was new. They've fully enjoyed voyaging aboard Eagle's Wing II but now they're having to set their cruising days aside. That makes an opportunity for you, whether you single-hand, couple-cruise, or take along a crew of family and friends. This diesel-powered yacht's owners originally fitted her out with the most popular Hunter options -- including in-mast furling, autopilot, refrigerator/freezer, electric windlass, Ultraleather upholstery, cockpit cushions and more -- then added other features like forced air diesel heat, dodger and bimini, and television. This yacht is now at our Seattle marina. Stop by or call to make an appointment today to see Eagle's Wing II. |

One of Glenn Henderson's innovative designs, this Hunter 36 incorporates performance and design features that made it one of the most successful models in Hunter's history. Ergonomic considerations that went into making the 36 fun and easy to sail also were applied to its interior, creating an attractive, easy-living environment below deck. Comfortable berths await up to seven crew and guests. Every living space includes abundant (6'5" max) headroom. With warm teak bulkheads and furnishings and dark blue Ultraleather upholstery, "Eagle's Wing" outshines the plastic laminate look of so many newer yachts. Scads of windows, portlights and translucent hatches bring daylight and views to the interior. At night, thoughtfully placed lighting fixtures, including adjustable reading lamps, provide illumination where it's needed. There's Webasto forced air diesel heat to ward off any chill. Hot and cold pressure water serves the galley and head, even the cockpit shower. An AM/FM/CD stereo offers music and other programming to the saloon and the cockpit. Here's the layout, fore to aft: THE PRIVATE FORWARD STATEROOM, encloses a large vee-berth, room to dress standing up, a hanging locker, large shelved cabinet plus other shelves and storage. An overhead hatch offers light and ventilation. On the aft bulkhead, a pass-through window with a hinged, louvred shutter provides a link to the saloon, as do the French stateroom doors. THE SALOON includes, to starboard, a spacious U-shaped settee surrounding a teak dining table that can be lowered to convert the area to a double berth. To port, another settee also can be used as berth. There's storage in cabinets, on shelves, plus under and behind the settees. Large overhead windows help flood the area with daylight and hullside windows provide outdoor views even when a person is seated. THE NAVIGATION STATION, aft of the port settee, features a large, hinged-topped desk, a chartplotter/radar display (hinged so that it can swing out to be seen from the helm), the VHF radio, stereo controls, a tank monitor, a chart light, a barometer, the AC and DC breaker boards, and battery control switches. IN THE GALLEY, aft of the starboard settee, the efficient arrangement includes a Force 10 propane two-burner stove and oven, Nova Kool front-opening refrigerator and front-opening freezer, an Origo microwave, deep double stainless steel sinks with a single-lever faucet, Corian countertops, wet-locker dish storage that doubles as a dish dryer, and numerous drawers, cabinets and shelves. THE HEAD, to port across from the galley, inlcudes easy-clean Corian counters, a standup shower stall, wet hanging locker, vanity, manual head, two opening portlights, and handy storage spaces. THE PRIVATE MASTER STATEROOM'S sprawling queen-sized bed offers an inner spring mattress and a padded headboard. Above the pillow end of the berth, a large translucent hatch provides air and natural light. There's stand-up headroom and dressing space, a hanging locker, and abundant storage in comparments, cabinets and shelves. A HDTV is mounted on a hinge so it can be viewed in the stateroom or swung out through the door to be seen in the saloon. |

This user-friendly cockpit, protected by a Jason Iverson dodger and bimini, offers comfortable, back-supported seating, plus plenty of seat length to stretch out for a nap on the snap-on cushions. A hinged centerline table with fiddled leaves folds down when not in use. The Lewmar steering pedestal is home to the wheel, single-lever engine controls, VHF remote, a compass, and autopilot, speed, depth and wind instruments, and cup holders. Primary winches (two Lewmar 40 self-tailers) are within easy reach of the skipper at the helm, as are the lines for the traveller mounted on the overhead arch, which also provides space for a cockpit light and stereo speakers. On the cabin top to either side of the companionway are two additional winches (Lewmar 30 self-tailers) and an array of line-stoppers to handle the aft-led running rigging. The hinged helm seat folds back to provide a walk-through access to the scoop transom, with its storage compartments and swim ladder. Stern-rail seats -- complete with cup -- holders -- offer great perches for crew or guests. On deck, an effective non-skid pattern in the fiberglass provides secure footing and stainless steel stanchions, life-lines, pushpit and pulpit add to crew safety. Wide side decks provide easy access forward. At the bow, a dual roller, locker and a Simpson Lawrence electric windlass handle the ground tackle -- a 33 lb Bruce anchor, 75' of chain and 300 feet of line.
