Hunter

Another intrepid North American builder is Hunter Marine with a 40-year heritage of building boats in Florida. Recently purchased and renamed Marlow-Hunter Sailboats, this company sells coastal cruisers and trailer-sailers from 15 to 50 feet. Always with an eye toward comfort, Hunter has often led more traditional builders in the addition of creature comforts and practical solutions like onboard WiFi, a dish drying system, a cockpit arch, and a simple sail plan including the trademark B&R rig which is easily managed by a couple or a single-hander. The recent addition of sleeker profiles and drop-down transoms that form a swim platform, have kept Hunter top-of-mind with boaters looking to have the latest features at a head-turning value.

Description

Island Girl presents a rare opportunity to buy a Cherubini built Hunter cruising sailboat.  This is a good sailing boat with two private staterooms, a walk-through head, sit down nav station, large galley and large main salon.    Cutter rigged, Island Girl will be easy to sail with a high-clew genoa, self-tacking club jib, and fully battened main sail.   Recent dodger and sail covers and cockpit cushions and recent ultrasuede cushions inside make her very liveable and the varnished teak interior and varnished teak sole are very inviting.

Outfitted for short coastal cruising, Island Girl has a Garmin GPS, Icom VHF radio, Isotherm refrigerator and more.   This owner has already purchased a new boat so call today and learn more about this new listing.

Please contact Mark Edwards, CPYB at 774-526-0914

There is a deep keel sump in the main salon and the keel bolts look brand new.   The sit-down Navigation Station is located at the aft end of the port settee.  There is also an electrical panel here.
