Consumption figures - Vendor supplied

Engines are electronically controlled and fitted with “Murphy Power view” LCD gauges which show fuel consumption at individual RPM.

Read out from these gauges are very conservative, but even so running on one engine at 1200 RPM and seven knots in calm weather the burn rate is about 9 litters per hour.
This gives a consumption of 1.5 litres per nautical mile.

We have recorded trips ranging up to 800 miles from Greece to Croatia with similar consumption figures.
