The firmly innovative Leader 9 slots seamlessly into the philosophy of the new Leader range with a contemporary and innovative design, high performance, on-board comfort and lightness.The sportop options provide the Leader 9 with two alternative configurations – soft top or hard top – and emphasise comfort with a layout comprising two areas, allowing for the creation of large amounts of living space (saloon and cabin). Entrusting the design of the Leader 9 to the Garroni Design Group led to an assured position in the Leader range – contemporary, sporty lines, large streamlined hull windows, handsome sportop and large areas of glass.

A boat that is as pervaded with light on the exterior as it is in the interior. The opening sportop with either soft or hard top (both electric), the large glass picture windows and the panoramic windscreen draw plenty of light and ventilation into the Leader 9’s sportop. The deck windows and the “sea view” hull windows bring an exceptional amount of natural light into the interior saloon and cabin.

The generously proportioned cockpit is very well equipped for life in the open air – with cockpit saloon convertible to a sunbathing platform 2.40 m long, settee to port, exterior galley with sink, refrigerator under driving bench seat (option) and a very spacious platform with bathing ladder. The Leader 9 offers excellent 180° visibility and an ergonomic helm position (two driving positions), with raised soles. The level area forward makes circulation safer and increases enjoyment of the large sunbathing platform. A newly designed interior optimises comfort, due to a configuration of two large living areas – a spacious saloon (convertible to double berth) and a comfortable cabin. The saloon / sitting room is very wide and comfortable. Its primary function of saloon doubles up by converting into a berth which can be separated by a recessed curtain, making the space into a second cabin with a “sea view” and its own hanging locker. There is also ample space for the light filled cabin aft (with a hull “sea view” window), which contains a large double berth, a very comfortable seat and a hanging locker. The equipment and use of space in the galley has been prioritised to optimise use when cruising. The design and components have been selected with particular care to achieve perfect visual integration. With excellent ventilation provided by deck hatch and port, the Leader 9’s head compartment offers a high degree of comfort. Situated aft of the galley, it is totally concealed visually in the interior space. Performance qualities are guaranteed by the excellent hull design of the Leader 9 and its Z-Drive twin engines, which are ideally adapted to this style of boat. In the diesel-powered version, the leader 9 is equipped, as an option (on the D3 version) with the Volvo “joystick” system, for incomparable handling and manoeuvrability. In terms of design, space, comfort and performance, this new Leader 9 benefits from all the innovations displayed by the Leader range.
