Description/Condition

JUST REDUCED IN PRICE AS OWNER EMIGRATING! Orion is the best example of a Jeanneau 40DS around. This is a very capable and comfortable cruiser and would make a good live aboard. She is ideal for Cruising UK waters, the Baltic or for passage making to the Med or Canary Islands. There are three cabins with double berths in two and conversion to double berth in the third. She has excellent joinery and raised seating in the saloon giving good light and visibility through the large window area. Features include an under table drinks cabinet and wood veneered ceiling panels. Standing room is over 6'6" in the saloon, master cabin and heads. Berth lengths are also generous. The 56HP engine propels her well under power. The boat is presented in almost unmarked outstanding condition, ready to go cruising.

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Sun Odyssey 40 DS is the first Jeanneau sailboat to be equipped with a revolutionary deck saloon. With living accommodations comparable to those of much bigger yachts, the interior of the 40 DS, with its panoramic view, brings an exciting dimension to cruising sailboats. The minimal drop from the cockpit to the saloon makes life onboard easy.  The movable bench seat to port allows easy access to the transom.  In the brightly lit and voluminous interior, the beauty and the detail of the woodworking relate perfectly to the quality of the furnishings. The Sun Odyssey 40 DS comes with two spacious and comfortable cabins.
