This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2 has been well maintained and is a credit to her owner. The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2 is solidly built with lots of attention to detail and quality fittings and joinery. This elegant sailing yacht has sleek lines and her hull shape delivers superb performance. She is easy to handle with an in-mast furling mainsail and a 145% overlapping genoa. The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2 is wonderful for socialising too, with a large comfortable cockpit and a cavernous interior. This vessel has well maintained, updated  and is really bright, airey and well appointed. She is ideally suited to taking your family and friends away on holidays or long distance cruising. Accommodation

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2 is extremely spacious. It offers 8 berths in three cabins and the saloon. There is a large light and airy forward double cabin with en-suite heads (with marine heads, sink and shower), dressing table and lots of hanging and storage lockers. Two double aft cabins with hanging space and storage lockers. The Aft heads is to port with marine heads, sink and shower and holding tank.

The interior is very light and airy fully fitted in teak and holly with blue Alcantara upholstery which gives a cosy feel to the yacht which is enhanced by the Webasto diesel cabin heating. Full standing headroom throughout, max 6' 3". Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system supplying stainless steel twin galley sinks, heads basin and showers.  Water heated by Calorifer and 240v immersion heater. The Heads is to starboard with marine toilet with holding tank, wash basin and shower.

The linear galley to Port has a gas cooker with two burners, and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, 12v fridge unit, additional cool box, crockery and cutlery and lots of storage. The saloon has a large central table which can be converted to make a double berth. Large TV/DVD player mounted starboard side. Very large chart table to starboard with electrical panel. Curtains to windows and blinds to hatches. Blue upholstery in saloon and cabins.

The large cockpit has two steering binnacles with a central folding table with ample locker space. Double doors to the sugar scoop bathing platform. Forward there is a large sail locker.

Masthead Bermudan sloop rig. Double spreaders. Deck stepped anodised aluminium mast and boom by Sparcraft. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. In mast furling mainsail system. Profurl headsail furling genoa system. Harken 48 electric self-tailing primary winches. Harken 44.2 self-tailing secondary winches.

Sails:

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway/cockpit in vented and soundproofed compartment. Yanmar 4JH3 TE diesel engine. 75hp. Four cylinders. Fresh water cooled. Shaft drive to 3 blade Maxprop feathering propeller with rope cutter. Single lever engine control. Through tunnel bowthruster. Engine just being serviced April 2013, engine hours approximately 930

Teak hand rails. Stainless steel cleats and deck fillers. Liferaft well in cockpit. Gate to sugar scoop transom. Cockpit shower. New seacocks and values fitted in 2012. Antifouled and new anodes Feb 2013
