SCORPIONE dei mari, a Jongert 2900M, designed by Tony Castro, is one of the most sophisticated sailing yachts of the new Jongert generation with a modern and stylish interior and excellent build quality by one of the world's best shipyards.
The yacht offers the perfect compromise of comfortable cruising and performance sailing. The most interesting development is a large "CODE 0 "sail, which allows Scorpione to maintain an excellent velocity in light winds, while most yachts are motoring.
During an extensive interior and exterior Awlgrip paint refit in 2011, she was also supplied with a new set of sails. All mechanical systems were serviced and updated where necessary to maintain industry standards, and carefully faired/optimized (hull, rudder, keel, bulb, etc.) to sail considerably faster.
The sailing modifications proved to be extremely worthwhile, therefore SCORPIONE DEI MARI is ready for a reliable worldwide circumnavigation or taking part in Super Yacht events with friends/family, where she has already won the Palma SYC.
