Lagoon Catamarans is a brand of Groupe Beneteau of France and builds multihulls from 39 to 62 feet. Many of these models are active in bareboat and high-end crewed charter and have been gaining ground in the private ownership market as well.
Since the mid-1980s, Lagoon has built boats focused on practicality of use and onboard comfort. The boats are easy to spot by their vertical wrap-around windows, rounded cabintops and square-head mainsails. Visibility from the helms of these models is excellent as the steering stations are always raised but somewhat protected from the elements.
These boats enjoy the support of a strong owners’ association and can be found cruising in most parts of the world.
