OWNERS COMMENTS:
This 2003 Lakeview 72ft Houseboat started life as a 6 BR, 2 BA rental boat. I have used the boat as a live-aboard for the last 3 years. The wall between the rear two bedrooms was knocked out to make a Master Bedroom. An area was framed in within the Master to add a full-size, front-loading washer/dryer and a large shelf above those. There are also two large under bed drawers to act as dressers or storage. I converted the rear, lower cuddy cabin to a walk-in closet with three rods for hanging clothes, wire shelving cubbies for storing clothes, two small storage drawers and a shelf on top of that. Could possibly add a fold-down desk for an office area. That leaves two upper and one lower cuddy cabins for bedrooms. Has a 51 inch plasma flat screen TV. All windows were replaced Fall of 2011with double pane windows from Motion Windows. Has two full baths, party top, hot tub on top. Gas Grill, table and four chairs on front deck. Table and six chairs on top deck. Eight folding lounge chairs on top deck. Generator runs great but needs new head gasket. An additional 50 Amp service was added in 2010 to handle the electrical demands of winter living. Portions of the carpet were removed during re-modeling and there is a $2000 flooring allowance for new owners to select the carpet, wood flooring, or tile that they would choose or the price can be reduced by the same amount. The slip is available if the new owners would like to keep it there. It is the nicest marina on Norris Lake, most convenient to Knoxville and the interstate. It is the only one on Norris Lake suitable for liveaboard as they leave their water on all year round and provide holding tank pumping during winter months. There is a central pumping system that is available for self-service pumping the rest of the year. The marina includes free Wi-FI and has an excellent restaurant on-site from May through Labor Day. Fabulous sunrises and sunsets and you can step out your back door and onto your runabout (up to 19ft) that you can park behind the boat for free!
