The Leopard 42 was a brand new design in 2001 by Alex Simonis, and over 100 yachts (both 42' and 43') have been built. Leopard catamarans are well built and capable of cruising any ocean. In delivery miles alone, Leopard catamarans have sailed over 5 Million nautical miles, that's a lot of blue-water under their keels. The Leopard 42's sleek profile enhances windward performance while her stepped hull chines increase interior volume. Sacrificial keels protect the integrity of the hulls and give superior strength. Strong louvered slats fitted over the sloping saloon windows facilitate easy and safe access to the roof and boom and provide shade in the main saloon. A cockpit hardtop provides plenty of shade over the outdoor living space, while the oversized helm station has excellent visibility and is protected in the cockpit. The spacious deck and cockpit areas are designed to be user-friendly and easily maintained. Single level cockpit design assures everyone is included in the party. Ingeniously locating the mainsheet traveller overhead on the “targa arch/hardtop clears the cockpit for superior comfort and safety, and opens up direct access from the cockpit to the aft platform, great for swimming, diving or boarding a dinghy. Clever design features and proven construction materials are used to minimise maintenance so you can spend more time enjoying life on board. A great opportunity to own a late model Leopard 42 and cruise the Pacific Islands or just closer to home, in comfort and safety.
